i just discovered this line of art supplies by todd oldham- it is so fun and modern and kid-tastic!
we picked up some of the multi-colored pencils at target today, and i can't wait for my peeps to try them out!

chicago is such a rad city.  and, lucky me, my sister tour guide took me to all the best spots.  we attended a concert at the frank gehry designed pritzker bandshell, and wandered through the amazing public art in millenium park.

it is lovely here in chicago! i am having the best time playing tourist, eating drinking, shopping and photographing. this morning i went with my sister to the first day of camp at girls rock! Chicago- it was amazing! I can't wait to share the photos from this morning (and the rest of the trip!) soon! xo, hvk

ever since i saw this lovely thing roll down the street a couple weekends ago, i can't get it outta my mind.  if only i had a big event to plan- this bus would be part of the day, for sure!

so-cal social call

my trip to LA a couple weeks ago was awesome beyond words.  i caught up with old friends and met new babies.  i ate, drank, soaked in the sun and drove a bitchin' little car all over the southland.

after eight loooong days on my own, this little orange plane is very exciting.  i can't wait to have my baby-daddy home!

check out this stunner on orcas island.  i'm pretty sure that the san juans are one of the most magical spots in the world, and this place ain't too shabby either.

i hadn't heard of united nude until this week when my man had drinks at a london bar with the company's founders, but now i am smitten.

granted, some of these aren't practical unless your name is lady gaga, but aren't they amazing?!
